Restringing a bow

Simply put, can you restring a dropped bow and reduce it's delay?

To change bow strings, simply place a completed bow into the fletch kit along with the new desired string, and hit the combine key. Should be able to. I've never tried personally. I've always used the lowest delay, albeit lowest damage, 235 trivial silk string bows.

Oh.. dropped. Probably not. That would be interesting to try though wouldn't it?

Ya I just looted the ridiculously easy Runed Oak Bow and was thinking about it. In the fletching guide it looks like something you can do on a bow separate from actually making it from scratch.

You can always try, it shouldn't eat your items unless it's an actual combine that you fail.

Feel pretty sure that if you could make dropped bows better it would common knowledge at this point though.
