What race is best and starting point to take ? if you dont take barbarian ?

Sta is where it is at, Str is easy to max

That guide is so horrible, you couldn't have possibly read it.

Aesthetics are the most important thing, so pick which race you can stand to look at for 60 levels. Something to consider: This robe can only be used by human, dark elf, and gnome rogues. It's one of two rogue wearable robes on this server and extremely nice for that slot. That's why picking wood elf over dark elf is my biggest regret on Cecily.

Stats - Do any STA / STR combination and you can't mess up too badly.
5 STR /25 STA is the typical min/max. High starting STR will overcap quickly in Velious.

Gnome is the best race, it is just scientific fact.

Also, put all da points into DEX! Rogues gotta have sneaky fingers....dexterity helps!!

I put all my points in to charisma in order to best talk my self out of trouble and fence misappropriated goods.

I also rolled half elf so I didn't have a true people to be a traitor against.

doesnt matter, once you get dark elf mask youre gucci anyways

Pretty much this, the difference between races is so small for a rogue that you should just play what you think looks best.
