How is p99?
 

I haven't logged on in around 6 months or more. I'm genuinely curious here, not trying to fan the flames of drama.


Relative to 6 months ago:

-How is the server doing?
-Population/economy stable (other than predictable market fluctuations)?
-Competitive raiding still a perpetual poopsockfest? Or have some of the more marginal targets become more available?
-Epic mobs still hoarded?

After a hiatus and a much needed breather I may be stepping back into the game.

Population is as high as its ever been, 1500 some nights

I think we hit 2K on Velious launch but that was it for 2K nights

it's no takp but it has its charms

Better than any other emu? Yes

Helpful community? Most the time

Will you get your epic? Prolly not without selling your soul ( depending on class)

So basically no change :)

My goals other than working slowly towards bard epic have been strictly casual and family friendly guild based.

Bard epic needs white scales. I don't think Vox / Gore are highly contested but I could be wrong. UDB for dragon guts is up all the time.

Server is fine. Neither better nor worse. Would lean towards better with more patches since 6 months ago.

Population is pretty much the same as it was 6 months ago. It has it's peaks and it's lows at certain times of the day and year.

Raiding, as a person looking from the outside in. It's a nightmare. But that's not to say you can't get targets you want. From my understanding most of the big guilds have homeless people who race for them.
I think smaller guilds can pick off classic and maybe even some kunark now-a-days with little strife from the "big dogs".

Epic mobs. heh.. yeah... Depends on the time of day. Expect to sock.

Server health = great. (The forums won't reflect that)

Most epics are not bad because of all the spawnable raid mobs that only drop the Epic pieces.

Wizard staff from real VS and Green scales from Sev/Hosh are the only raiding bottlenecks left

I guess White Scales from Vox/Gore as well but Trak guts are pretty easy to get if you can round up 15-20 friends.
