How to transfer items between toons
I have a level 14 mage, finally saved up some pp for Wu 2h stick for my level 1 Iksar monk. How can I trade him the item?
|
I have a level 5 monk that I will mule it to you with... #notmakingeyecontact #probablytryingtostealyourstuff
If you are around GFay, I would mule it for you. edit: corrected gfy from kunark |
Typically you want to find someone high level in a raiding guild who is sitting in EC and send them a tell.
Although I've had cheaper stuff transferred by my bros in Dial a Port and never had any issues. |
Interesting, I'll have to ask around then. Also, I see a lot of guides that say 1-9 FoB for monk and 12-18 kurns. But what about 9-12? I was thinking of just leveling 1-12 at EC then heading to Kurns for 12-18

You could always drop a bag. classic way is always best.
|
Ya I just throw my stuff on the ground
|
Drop bag on ground and camp and pick up other character.
Be careful about lore items. Items will disappear off ground and I had a bag pop in front of me with 2 jade velium rings, chetari staff, loam pants, and some lore item I don't remember I already had banked on my other guy. You have 3 to 4 minutes. |
I dropped a bag. Find a nice hidden spot behind a tree or something. Use /loc to verify location and pray to your deity that your computer doesn't crash.
Gives you a nice gamblers thrill and doesn't rely on people being trustworthy. |
I like this bag drop idea lol. It cracks me up too. Is it hard for an Iskar to get a lift to EC??

For items totaling 10k or less I have literally never once talked to a person who had a bad experience doing a transfer with a level 60 in a raiding guild. Nobody at that level is going to risk a ban for stealing your bag of items each worth several hundred pp. Never trust a level one unguilded character, and throwing your items on the ground is unnecessary risk. Just pick a level 60 in a raiding guild and you cant go wrong.
