Does /SHIELD work?
 

Hey everyone, I just wanted to see if anyone knows if the /shield ability works in P99 ... I tried it out last night to try to get my HP down so that I could ZERK and it didn't seem to be working..

/SHIELD is a warrior ability apparently that allows you to shield a TARGET taking up to 50-75% ?? of damage onto yourself rather than them...

Weird, because if you type /shield in-game it gives you a message about the ability ...

/shrug...

I think thats a post PoP ability. Even then it was something you saw npcs using on themselves way more than in practice. In GoD i would often hit pet shield AA when summoned on a raid boss. I always died instantly anyway

/Shielding with that 1-shot Druid AA Damage shield was a thing of beauty.

Probably wasn't working as intended, but hey - viability for druids as #1 DPS class!
