Running two screens?
fullscreen mode or window?
describe the lag, happen at certain times, always, etc.?
any other games lag?
have you tried running in in windows me/2k/xp/etc. compatability?

You can't just set the affinity of eqgame.exe to one of the cores?

On a side note, I have 3 PC's, that are all dual core (one is Pentium D, others are C2D) and I've had no problems with EQ1. Do you have a really old dual core in a really old motherboard with really old chipset drivers or something?
