The Geologist's Purloined Tools

Interesting quest reward for a Erudite Cleric/Paladin that is broken because a key NPC (A frantic kerran)was removed from Erud's Crossing back on March 28th 2010.

The NPC would drop an "incomplete tool kit" that you could combine 2 other items found underwater in Erud's cross (they still spawn)

I don't know why this NPC was removed but doing so stoped a while quest line. Maybe this hasn't been reported yet because of the fact the quest reward item is for an erudite Cleric / paladin?

As an additional point, the sister quest to this one called "Kobold Shaman Artifacts" is also broken because the Shamans do not drop the required item as well.

I don't know why it was removed either, how odd.

The mob page on Alla only has a comment from 2011 or so, but the quest page itself has comments dating back to March 19, 2001, so it should definitely be in on p99.

Yes, unfortunately for one reason or another these two great quests have been removed from P1999.

The Geologist's Purloined Tools
http://wiki.project1999.com/The_Geol...urloined_Tools
(The NPC has been removed as stated above)

Kobold Shaman Artifacts
http://wiki.project1999.com/Kobold_Shaman_Artifacts
(Shamans do not drop the required medicine pouch)

The Muglwump in the Warrens still drops the Midnight Sea Mail Coat, but the rest of the set to this chest item (both legs and arms) have been removed or not implemented for some reason..... I really hope this can be fixed.

Frantic kerran should be working since the release of the Warrens. I see encounter logs of engagements with it.
