Velious Cloth Map
 

Does anyone remember which versions had the actual cloth map?

I know the Gold 'Tin' edition had it. But did any of the boxed versions of Velious contain the cloth map? I know some came with the stock/magazine paper version.

I'm looking for one for a shadowbox project. If anyone has one they want to part with.
Would rather get it from the community.

My original Kunark box was the only one of mine that had a cloth map in it. Everything past that point was coated cover stock :/

I also only remember a cloth map for kunark. If there was one for velious I don't think me or any of my friends ever had one.

Just Kunark, I never knew what to do with mine...don't want to say I binned it but I don't have it anymore.

PS. You have Ultima to thank for cloth maps being included. Among many other goodies that came in video game boxes. It basically pioneered them.

I'm curious about that cloth map. I actually bought the Velious box a couple years ago specifically for the map since I like to frame and hang up video game artwork. There was definitely no cloth map in the Velious box. Unless there's a deluxe version of the Velious box or something, I'm guessing that's a non-official map.

They want like $70 for the box, jewelcase+disc and cloth map.
*shrugs*

I've read other people saying they had the box for velious and they never got a cloth map with it.

Ultima is what started me on the dark path of online gaming as a very young kid. That game had a real sense of danger and that anything could happen to you once you left the safety of a major city. I spent alot of time wandering around the wilderness for unlocked houses...
