Can someone get the 11/17 version summoned on the test server and see if it's hitting like a 15 damage dagger or not? I have heard people reporting it's hitting just as hard as a ragebringer with the backstabs which should not be the case with an 11 dmg dagger.

backstab mod seems to work on it causing this.

Certain non-15 damage rogue weapons are hitting as if they were 15 damage, causing max backstab hits. This was reported last year to the devs, but a review of the item database and code came back inconclusive for the cause. IIRC there was no mod being activated that could be ascertained.

interesting, maybe I should just test and see if I can hit max on sitting targets with a 14 dmg

Ive used various non 15 damage piercers and none have ever hit max dmg as a 15 piercer backstab. even with primal and max attack power buffs. Also afaik backstab modifiers and all that such were never in game until luclin patch. so regardless if its a 15/19 it should not have the modifier, but no idea what devs are doing with that.
