Losing connectivity.
 

So.. follow me here.

I am camping playing eq last night, and notice my latency bar in the upper left going down, fading to black as it were. It got down to 60 pct, before I closed EQ, and checked my browser. No connectivity. Icon lower right of systray showed the little yellow yield exclamation point thing.

Reset mode, router, Reboot computer.

Browser opens, wineq, select server, np. Select my character, enter world... lose connectivity.

Repeat process.

Browser opens, select server np. Select my character and enter world...lose connectivity.

Now, my question is this. What would cause that to happpen? A loss of connectivity only when I tried to load up a toon in eq.

Your router hates everquest.

Dead on man. Although it took me 30 min of troubleshooting. But removing the router form the equation didn't fix the client simply closing me to desktop in OOT... happens more often now.
