I think on live back in the day, people would run by his room with Illusions on (lich, etc) and he was kos to these certain illusions, and he would achieve LOS thru the door, despite the player not seeing him, and be Death touched, and thus the rumor that he sort've randomly death-touched was born. I believe that has been recreated here in the form of aggroing/DTing anyone in his room (and in los) every 60 or so, I didn't bother testing the exact specifics.
