Does the DE illusion spell give you hide?
 

Curious if the hide skill comes with the DE illusion.

Nope.

Illusions will include passive racial abilities and bonuses, not skills you'd have to "activate."

Aka troll gives regen, air ele gives lev, dark elf gives uv, etc.

For the record, Iksar illusion does not give regen. Screwed that one up for a while.

troll/barbarian/ogre all give slam.

Illusioning away from those races removes slam.

Best bet for instant charm break is the goblin gazhugi ring, soloable relatively early on... but can be a *long* camp.
