Being attacked from the side/ rear
 

New to 99. Old school player.

Please refresh my memory. Being attacked from the side and rear gives the attacker a bonus right?

Im asking if attacks from behind can be blocked etc or if it does not matter if your flanked or attached from rear.

also rogue mobs will backstab from behind, even the one without piercing weapon (I'm not sure that's normal by the way...)

Makes a big difference. Don't let them get your back.

Unless getting your rear attacked is your thing... in which case..

And by backstab, the sides count...so always face them to make sure. Seen a few unfortunate incidents in Mistmoore with the puller getting stunned then backstabbed on his way out to the camp :p

Correct aside from block which works in all directions.
