Freezing when joining group.
 

Started happening after the last patch. Will join a group and will freeze within 3 seconds and have to ctrl+alt+delete to start the task manager to end the eq process. Happens every time and as far as I can tell only on one character (toon name is Fyhre). Tried reinstalling the last patch, but didn't help. Have tried in multiple zones as well.

Thought it might be the UI I was using, but happens with every UI.

First time I have ever seen this bug.

I would clear out all the player specific files and let the game remake them.

Tried that with no luck.

I would reinstall EQ Ina clean folder and move over files til you get the error again.

Or learn to solo :)

Did new game files work?

I'm having a similar problem except I lock up upon zoning into the game...I get like 1-15 seconds before freezing. Yes its on only 1 char

That is a whole different problem which you should make a new thread for.
