problems logging into game
 

I am unable to launch the game. i read the sticky-ed thread and my problem is number 1 on the list. the memory reference thing but the posted fix is not working for me. I have searched my folder multiple times but cannot locate a file named eqclient.ini Does this mean i need to reinstall or am I looking in the wrong place? is there another solution to this issue? any help would be appreciated.

Your problem is unrelated to eqclient.ini because that file is generated the first time EQ is successfully launched - the solution posted in the FAQ thread is only for when you get that error after you've already loaded EQ.

Reinstall EQ outside of your program files folder.
