Ranger Duo/Solo spots 40-50
 

So I have a 39 Ranger, my main at the moment. Just finishing up in Mistmoore and looking to see what's next. As this is my first character, I am looking to find a new spot where I can solo/duo and hopefully farm some platinum at the same time. I have decent gear - spined dragon claws & silken whip of snaring atm along with mostly mithril armor and silver chitin handwraps. I have a friend who had helped me with some gear who has a 38 SK alt so we could potentially duo somewhere. Figured if we could grab a clarity we could sustain ourselves pretty well for a while.

Any suggestions on places to check out? I was told Overthere was decent for solo since I can panic animal. Also was told that City of Mist is a great spot if I'm looking to group up.

I did a shaman / rogue / ranger trio OT to DL to CoM. Got me 50 really quickly.

Undead when duoing with the SK would go quick with Spook the Dead - also disease cloud aggro + bow damage may also work well.

Fear kite griffons in north karana.

Fearkite drolvargs in FV with an enc. Great duo for this spot ~34-42.

You snare, sow, pull and patch heal.

Enc charms, fears and drugs.

Sounds good, thanks for the tips. I am thinking of checking out the griffons and then maybe going to OT for now. I don't know a spot for undead but that would be a great combo with SK

Ranger soloing...

I fear kited BW giant fort with a necro also, mid 50s. Pretty nice exp.

Yeti caves in DL I did as solo/duo ranger from 40-46, very good xp and they have so little hp that u can tank spank them. They also drop some stuff u can vendor.

Yeti caves to 45 or 46 depending on how twinked.

Ogre guards, Freeport guards, or Spectres until 51.
