Royal Velium Frosted Armor and Velium Round Shields
 

I have noted that the dwarves of Icewell Keep (and perhaps Thurgadin too?) are outfitted in some of the finest armors. Thus far all of my attempts at transacting with these little people have floundered. They are staunchly uninterested in supplying me with a set of their fine armor no matter my offer.

It is in such dire straights that my mind has turned to ... alternative considerations. The armor looks incredibly well crafted, however if... by chance... misfortune was to befall one of these little fellows, what is the likelihood one might be able to, oh I don't know, salvage a piece of two?

How many watchmen might meet with misfortune before it could outfit itself wholly in an unscathed set of Royal Frosted Velium Armor?

And what of a Velium around Shield too?

From live days the shields and armor were common/uncommon i would say(Legs and BP rarer of course). The few times i went to Icewall on p99 though there was never anyone hunting there so not sure it see a ton of action other then the occasional person trying to twink out a alt. Splitting them is the hardest part. Once you have the spawns split its pretty easy to farm.

Spent some time farming amulets and I never saw anyone killing these on p99 either. I believe only the royal guards drop the Bp/Legs. Have a full set on my eqlive Pally, I know we didn't spend more than 2 sessions killing them as a group. I doubt anyone else was looting the gear though.

Best to find some buddies who want KT faction and a change of pace.

I managed to acquire a shield last night, so I am pleased about that. Thank you for all the input on managing the dwarves in the keep as well. I plan to organize an... expedition in the near future. Please let me know if you would care to join me.

I spent 4 hours and got the gloves twice and shields galore. Nothing else dropped.
