Telin Darkforest for druid epic
 

i'm a level 51 human druid, and he's indifferent to me. when i hail him or try any quest text, he says "I cannot trust you with such important information, yet" and fails to hand me the note. IGN: Folgorth, Masrabr, Layna

Need higher faction then indiff if i remember right.

He starts at indiff. shouldn't need higher

You need amiable.

Non-wood elves do not start with sufficient faction so you need to do Pandos' Muffin Quest to get up there.

I redid the Druid epic on live 2 months back and had to do this. Then I got really annoyed and checked my logs from EQMac (PoP codebase) and found I had the same issue 4 years ago, having to do the quest to faction up to amiable.

In short, it is correct for Humans, Half Elves and Halflings to need to do faction work to begin their epic.

I did indeed have to do just as Daldaen said when trying to get Telin to speak to me (halfling). It's pretty fast and cheap to get your faction up there with the Muffin quest.
