This would be the single greatest thing ever. I have been trying to get into the game for a long time now and end up getting too frustrated and having to reformat and then just give up. I come back months later and try again only to be faced with the same issues/frustrations and end up giving up again.

I have talked to several old guildies/RL friends who have had similar problems and do not have the time/patience to deal with the troubleshooting barrier it takes to get into P99.

If one of you guys could make a P99 installation guide for true dummies...i mean...step...by...step. This would be absolutely huge for increasing population on this server and most importantly, would get your BRO Lron into P99 finally.

Not a bad idea.

Even though the Setup Guide on the forums is pretty common sense.

Install Game

Remove some files

Move p99 files into Eq Folder

Create Account on the P99 forums

Launch game and enjoy.

Don't do that...

I'll probably make a video on how to do this later.

There is a IQ minimum to play on the server. Keep trying though.

Yeah teamviewer bad idea since it got hacked. Nothing like knowing someone was on your computer looking through your stuff. I felt so violated lol. The 700 bucks the guy charged though was easily recoverable.

OP - you shouldn't have to "reformat" anything.

The most confusing part for most people is mounting the ISO's one by one for install. Once you wrap your mind around it, it's fairly simple. After that you just move the server files into your install directory and overwrite, then delete the 5 files the guide tells you.
