Finally Caved
 

Hey Ya'll

I finally caved on got p99 as I got sick of waiting for Brad's new love child game to come out. I was a long time player on Maintenance Thule and stuck through the merge with Emarr. Bounced between a couple different guilds depending on my free time for raiding. Avatar Elite and Altruistic Valorians were their names. I think there was also another one from my early pre-raiding days but the name escapes me.

Anywho I rolled a DE SK because even after all these years it's really the only thing I want to play. (though I'll admit the temptation to re-roll my old chanter is still present.) I'll be grinding on the blue server in the hopes of getting to re-experience those good old Kunark and Velious zones. I look forward to getting to know the community I've heard so much about over here.

Yea... I'm not really of the mindset it is important to min/max or poll a forum about a class/race combo. Let's just have some fun!

Thanks for the info on the yore guild. I was checking that thread out. I'll have to group with some folks and see how it all goes. I managed to hit 5 solo and am working on farming patchwork armor mats then will venture around a bit and see how the group life is and try out my amazing armor. HA:D

It seems there are a lot of lower level people which is interesting. Might make for some fun CR's in some low level dungeons!

Welcome! I was on Emarr until the merge (then went to Maelin about a year later), what was your character name? I wasn't in either of those guilds, but I do remember the names.

ETA: Sorry, if you don't want to say your char name(s) that's cool, I know some people want a fresh start!

I was on EMarr as well. My last guild was SR (Silent Resurgence). I stopped playing live to come to P99. Character name was the same as here, Speedi.

Earlier guilds was Ring of Destiny, then Midnight Fury.

Nothing to hide here, was proud of my rep with those who knew me.

Toon name was Branlail Blacksoul DE sk. (same as on the forum and p99).

I vaguely remember <Midnight Fury> Speedi, though I admittedly don't recall anyone's name from there.

I remember Speedi! And MF, I was at the druid rings in South Ro when that guild was created, I was a very young druid at the time, probably 19 or 24. That was a gulid merge from Midnight Sojourn & Storm's Fury, ya? This is why I didn't do well in college, my brain was filled with this information. So useful. ;)

SR took over Reviction's top spot right? And then serverwide when Triality went sideways? My dad played a Beastlord named Vermagnison for many years, and I think even server changed, but I don't think it was back to Emarr. After SoF I quit, so a lot of that is second hand & most likely mixed up due to not really caring at the time. :x
