Exit blinking chat cursor with Esc
May be an easy way im overlooking to do this but -
when you press enter, or your "reply tell" hotkey you begin chatting with a blinking cursor. how do you quickly exit out of this and begin moving around again if WASD is bound to movement, rather than just typing wassddasdssa, and being forced to shift+down, then enter to exit out of "typing" mode? |
Click on a hotbutton (can be blank). You can shift+down to eliminate whatever nonsense you just typed trying to move without hitting enter again.

Use the mouse to click on the chat box (not the input box)

cool, thanks. if you have to quickly move your right hand back to the mouse while in pants down blinking cursor need to start running/casting mode, this is about just a quick as hitting shift down enter for me, but a very neat trick.
i wish Esc exited blinking cursor that before your bags/target/ect. but /shrug going to make a mouse button macro for shift down enter since i would be grabbing the mouse again to drag cursor and click hotkey/chatbox anyway i guess hehe |
