CoS Peak Value?
 

Didn't manage to get a CoS before the patch.

I know, I goofed.

Are CoS going to be more expensive as time goes by? Or are we just in a bubble because of this patch?

Hard to say in the short term, people may be trying to gouge knowing that they were only recently taken away and the price has not reached a new equilibrium yet.

But in the long term they will definitely appreciate in price, but no one can truly predict how quickly or how far. There's A LOT of them on the server so I highly doubt they will ever be as anywhere near as valuable as a Manastone. But as players come and go and toons get retired/banned the number of pre-nerf ones on the market will inevitably decrease.

Yeah, I was hoping the fact that it's been farmed to shit would play in my favor.

Don't overpay. There are more on of those on the server than there are active players.

I always see people saying not to overpay, and there are so many on the server, but havent seen one for anywhere near a good price.

Someone should sell you one, but not me, im holding onto it lol.

8k sounds like what they are being sold for atm. I'd grab one at this price if I were you.

Not having a CoS for a necro or SK is not an option really on P99.

The CoS is a trivial item on P99. Everyone had the same bright idea to farm it before the nerf hit, then the nerf didn't hit, and the OMG MUST FARM intensified because the nerf could hit at any moment now(or several months later as it were).

The auction frenzy has somewhat died down, and rather than 20 of them being auction every 24h hours we now see 5-8.

But for those who want to do big business on the CoS, you'll have to wait a few years.

People try to price gouge after nerfs, just look at elder beads. People were trying to get 150k after the nerf, and now they're dropping in price again. I dont even play a necro or SK with any sort of regularity and have 2 pre-nerf CoS, there are a ton of them on this server.

The vast majority of necro/SK already have one. There's a ton of them on the server already.

I wouldn't pay much for them. I cannot imagine there is much demand.

People have been saying for months that it's going to go up really high eventually, and try to use elder beads as an example. The price has done nothing but plummet, and will continue to do so until it eventually sits around 6k or so. The server will be a barren wasteland before that item becomes anymore expensive than it already was at its peak.
