Pre epic 56 ranger choosing between set ups, i got -

Crafted velium warsword 10 18
exquisite velium battle hammer 12 20
winters fury 13 23 6str 25hp

but what combo

10 18 MH 12 20 OH
10 18 MH 13 23 OH
12 20 MH 13 23 OH

no parser set up but information would be helpful

Also once i get swiftwind should I go for speed with 10 18 MH or dps with 12 20 on mainhand.

10 18 and 12 20 perform real similar at 60 as mainhands. I'd go with the look you prefer, personally, although I think the 12 20 is a tiny bit better.

IMO your ideal setup is the 12 20 13 23 right now.

The only thing "speed" helps with is push, which, while important, you can get other sources like a Rev whip from hate. I swap whip (+moss covered twig) in when I'm trying to stop a CH or gate.

speed on MH applies to the mainhand damage bonus too tho does it not? or does this not factor with the greater dps ?

The 2 delay difference is probably not enough to make up the lower ratio of the warsword.

Main hand formula = (weapon dmg x 2 + dmg bonus) / delay

Warsword preforms a little bit better.

mainhand: ((damage * 2 + damage bonus) / delay)

offhand: ((skill+level)/500)*(damage/ delay)

using that your best setup is 10/18 + 12/20. They're all really close tho.

And once you get swiftwind 12/20 will be the best bet for primary hand.
