Book suggestions needed

So I am on the last book of the Malazan Book of the Fallen (Crippled God) and find myself directionless on where to go after I am done. Here is what I have read over, roughly, the last 7 years or so.

Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson (on book 10 of 10)
The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan (completed 13/13) /cringe
Game of Thrones series by GRMM (waiting on next book)
King Killer Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss (waiting on last book, 2 complete)
The Storm Light Archive by Brandon Sanderson (read first 2, waiting on 3rd)
The Belgariad series by David Eddings (5 books - complete)
The Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King (stand alone)

I have been pretty heavy on reading about wizards and dragons (as you can tell from the selections here) and would almost welcome something with a bit of a different theme, but I love wizards and dragons so thats always an option.

Main thing is I want to read something that is good and not 13 books long - give me some suggestions!

I was actually thinking about reading some Star Wars books....

Well, I would suggest the Sword of Shadows series by JV Jones.

The first book is called A Cavern of Black Ice.

New Stephen King book 11/22/63 (date JFK was assassinated) is pretty damn good. Centers around time travel. Also if you're a king fan, and fan of "The Shining". "Doctor Sleep" is amazing, sequel to the shining.

Has anyone read the Dark Tower series by Stephen King?

Disc World Series is pretty good. Really anything from Terry Prachett is good. He's got a good selection of movies as well.

I've just started reading the Symphony of Ages series again. The first book is called Rhapsody by Elizabeth Haydon. It pretty well covers the entire fantasy series of wizards and dragons ect. I only made it half way through the series before, since then she has added quite a few more books. I think it is up to 9 atm, though I can't say as to how good the series holds up in the second half.

Very painful read. Much boring. So zzzzz

But really, it was a major chore finishing that book for such a shitty ending

Sword of shadows suggested above is pretty damn good, the only problem is idk if the final book is ever getting released. Author has been a ghost for like 6 years or somethin

Read Catch-22 if you haven't.
