Trident of the Deep Sea

Currently on P99 we have the Luclin version of the Trident which is 14/22, it should be 14/24.

I think all of you have it wrong.
After the group find this baby on the mobs body... there is only 1 person this should go to.
Not any rogue/warrior/bard/shadowknight in particular, but the one with the highest dex and the one who has a weapon worse than this (which is quite alot of weapons!).
No matter who this goes to, 14/24 with a additional 20dmg per tic for 25 tics is hella!!

that seems to indicate that the proc duration was 25 ticks rather than the current 10

would take more research but judging by the 2nd post date, the 14/22 change may have been Luclin era

maybe it should be changed to 14/24 and the effect upped to 2.5 mins

2 random quotes from random newbs. Not sure this is great "evidence". See Massive Heartwood Thorn thread. Find a picture of the one with 24 delay because if it was true, there would be a picture.

someone fine a change in the spell file spdat

it should be noted somewhere when the ticks went from 25 to 10

Same link from OP, by the way.

It's a good taunter and a solo-er's dream.

jan 8th 2002, effect was still 25 ticks. seems certain is that the effect should be upped to 25 ticks, all sources indicate the nerf to 10 ticks was luclin.

spell info from allakhazam on august 2002 - deep into luclin, it was allegedly still 25 ticks.

this quote from dec 12 notes the delay change. luclin was released on dec 4. so the delay change was either late velious or right around luclin release. the effect duration nerf date could be found by checking spdats but I see no reason to bother unless even more proof is desired

waves of the deep sea should be upped from 10 ticks to 25 ticks

delay should maybe be changed to 24 - to either be dropped to 22 in a later velious patch or perhaps never.

so... no thoughts? =\

Because there were concerns it wasn't really a 24 delay item, picture evidence and stuff.

Was from an August 24, 2001 update btw.
