Roleplay
 

So, brace yourselves... I am looking for a roleplay guild. I haven't really got a main, nor do I raid and the main reason is that I truly join games for the RP I find in them. I have a lot of fond memories of roleplaying in EQ and a lot of time playing as various characters with different stories.... but I haven't found that on P99.

I get it, most people would rather look for loot, gold, food, and armor. Granted.

But I want to find more. If your guild is a roleplay guild then please let me know what their story is. Furthermore if there are no guilds offering it but there is interest in doing something like this I would be for getting something together with others.

I dont think theres a roleplayers guild on this server, perhaps Archers Vow. Make your own :D

Talk to Portlander when you see him on. He has the hook ups on the underground RP guilds.

Wasn't Zeal of Cabilis was a quasi roleplaying iksar guild? Didn't their leader also disappear and the officers too so there's no one left to invite people and why am I even posting this?

My name's Gleodren. I actually run a guild called <Roleplayers>.

But let me elaborate on what I mean by "run a guild." I am the guild leader, yes, but the guild consists of only myself and two friends that I've drug into the world of Norrath with me. We've seen interest, such as yours, in finding a roleplaying guild or even met people that specifically asked to join our very guild. The only reason we haven't accepted anybody else or tried to expand is because we haven't really had anything to offer.

The three of us play irregularly, and often take year long breaks when priorities change. None of us have attained great power or wealth, and so can't offer much to help others in their quests for such goals. Though perhaps if great power and wealth is your goal, there are surely many other guilds better suited for that. We also have held no events or gatherings like you might expect a group of roleplayers to do. Literally the only reason to join our guild would be to have <Roleplayers> beside your name.

All that being said, we've recently been discussing changing this. We're going to try and get some sort of structure to our guild and start trying to expand with other like-minded players. That's either going to happen soon, within the next few weeks, or priorities will change as I mentioned and I'll disappear for a year. :)
