character and npc models not showing
 

I just upgraded my desktop to windows 10 and when i tried to play i was able to get in just fine up until char select. at char select there were no models for any of my characters just floating weapons. i logged into the game and not only was my character's model missing all of the npc models were missing as well.
i checked the forums and found a fix changing vertex shaders to false in eqclient.ini, no joy.
tried a fresh install, again no joy.

on a side note the game runs perfectly on my laptop with windows no issues right off the bat on a fresh upgrade.

if there is any additional info that you need please let me know and i will provide it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you got a clean copy of p99 eq installed.

try updating your video drivers.

Check that your refresh rate matches that of your desktop.

Check your eq folder for files ending in _chr.s3d or _amr.s3d.
