Wind sound still playing even after turning it off?
 

I can still hear the wind sound even when I turn off "Environment Sounds" in options. Is it normal for it to bypass that option or is something wrong with my files?

seems like in order for me to turn it off, i need to click "Environment Sounds" on and off and then scale the sound volume from 0 to 100..is that normal?

You can remove all of the wind loops as well as Thunder and anything else overly obnoxious.

The link he has posted above is great. You can just remove thunder and lightning. Also can remove that huge boom in Lavastorm. And you can turn off that super loud noise of opening/closing bags.
Or if just trying to turn all sounds off.
Underneath your Volume bars...
If you want to just remove all weather sounds. Click Environment sounds off or something like that in the Alt+O option window.
