Random shutdowns
 

Hi there. When I play p99 in outdoor zones my laptop randomly powers down - it just switches off without notice. It can happen after playing for hours or after a minute or so, and doesn't seem heat/overheat related.

Happens more often than not in TT running to Seb, but can happen in any outdoor zone.

Is anyone else having similar issues? It only does this while p99 is running...I havent had it happen when playing any other game.

Had it happen after a Windows update caused driver update/incompatibility on my Windows 7 rig.

I reverted to an earlier save, disabled updates permanently. Haven't had a problem since reverting.

It wasn't p99 related for me really, it would crash kinda any time without warning. No blue screen, just shutdown.

Try reverting back if you can, or if you are aware of any updates recently etc when the problem started. Its your call.
