grr they won't take my plastic monopoly money again, gotta get a steam card :P
5 games in basket.
Nopem not doom, all indy games again. Last year for the summer sale I got the Arma 3 bundle. Still play it, really great game, but what is looking the best right now seems to be Windward. It's an improved Sid Meier's: Pirates w/o the dancing junk.

Steam cards are B1G1 20% off at bestbuy. So basically 10% off when you buy 2 cards of same value.

Yeah I grabbed some indie games myself like Sheltered and Gods Are Watching. Also grabbed Hurtworld has anyone given that one a try? Seems similar to Rust but with an interesting art style.

Oh that's cool ... welll sort of because things that go on sale are usually nowhere to be found after a day or two :D
But I checked a few hours ago, local Walmart had them in stock, and told my Walmart working friend to pick me one up tonight during shift (employee discount). Another one I'm picking up is The Long Dark. I was debating between that and Salt for a solo survival game, but Dark and it's updates looks really nice after checking some of the youtubs vids, a lot of realism.

the long dark was a good choice. I love the atmosphere in that game

The long dark looks interesting. Is it terrifying in any way?

I haven't played it yet, running system restore atm... and failed again. M$ installed a driver, I rebooted, now I just get the big blue. Log says driver error. Not sure if it will run on my laptop, it's at min req specs.

Not sure what to req, I play a lot of sandbox games. Obviously Skyrim if you never played it. X series if you like space ships (X3 terran conflict or X Rebirth). Space Engineers if you like building-survival games.
