For all those who thought about a come back, why not try red99 ?

Its all the fun of playing elf dress up like on blue plus the thrill of constant PvP.

The reputation of red99 is a little bit like a prison colony, but who doesnt like a challenge.

What challenge? There's like 50 of you...

twinks at lower level keep me from wanting to try red. what's the point if a lowbie has a fungi, i'll never win; heck a group might lose to it.

I haven't seen this in a long time. If you run into one, you level elsewhere, or level an alt.

I'm sure you realize you can out level that twink player in an hour or 2. Sure there's a population issue, and if you level with someone and send them berger tells. They are most likely gonna remember that, and make it harder on you leveling up. I know this from first hand experience because I love to shit talk players and they try to blacklist me from groups. But most importantly there's no line to wait to farm places.

I'm hoping Discord holds together better. Hard to say though, I've always been a conquest style faction war player, and I heard EQ team PvP didn't do so good (I just PvE'd in EQ, my PvP effort went into UO at the time, I was a founder and officer of one of the largest guilds in the game). I've always found though that uh FFA pvp was pretty abusive, and most players didn't stick around in such communities very long. But what EQ PvP had was a lot of active players from the PvE servers to pull from, but p99 only runs with like a half full classic live server, so not that constant flow of curious bodies falling into such FFA servers here. And the less you have the worse it is (e.g. ~100 peak sux).

But at 250 it is a Party and thats why I am posting here to make some People curious.

Yep, and I agree with you. When you bring people in to join your regular groups or into guilds especially, it makes a big difference. Classic EQ really isn't a great solo game, it's a great co-op/group game, one of the best ever developed.
