Archery Issue
On long pulls I generally bow down the incoming pull to begin aggro building because lets face it, taunt sucks on the warrior. The problem is some times/most or all of the time actually I freeze up once the mob is in melee range, and I have to sit down and stand back up and reattack before I can start swinging at the mob.
If I can explain it properly step by step... On a 34 DE War - Using a Runed Oak Bow & Class 2 wood point arrows from crafting. I assist the puller then plink the incoming mob with 1 arrow, maybe two. It enters melee range I turn attack on and hit taunt. Nothing happens. I turn attack off and back on. Nothing happens. I sit down, stand up, turn attack on, I start swinging at the mob. Now I've certainly never cataloged this problem every time so I cannot without a doubt say it happens EVERY time but it happens often enough that I bet I could repeat the issue in front of a GM if asked. It just seems to not make the conversion from bow to weapons when the mob hits melee range and I turn auto attack on until I sit for some reason to clear ranged attacking and then stand up and attack. I have experienced this problem in lower guk, upper guk and south karana. Please let me know if you need any more information. |
It could be possible about the long delay of the bow for being the reason of you not attacking in melee for a bit.
|
I know you can't start Melee until the delay of your Range Attack has expired, so that's a likely culprit.

No it is not the culprit, I am talking about some 15-20 second intervals before I sit down, stand up and reattack and am finally successful in actually swinging.
