Call of Sky with bows
 

Hi there, I just got 39 with my ranger and found that call of sky isn't working with archery / bows.

I found a post from 2004 stating it works with main hand / off hand / AND ranged.

This also aligns with my memory of the spell (using it with archery).

Honestly it just doesn't even make sense why rangers - a bow class - would get a proc that doesn't affect their bows.

SK proc tap doesn't work with bows either right

don't think it should, so therefore call of sky = naw also?

Please provide in-era evidence. Your link from 2004 proves nothing without correlating data from the timeline.

I don't see how the 2004 reference isn't sufficient, since there was never any change to Call of Sky.

How do you know there was never a change? Maybe things were changed and not put in patch notes over the years. Someone as small as a proc on a weapon might have gone unwritten. Trust me being a ranger i'm all for stuff to add to our DPS but also want to make sure its correct. I dont remember if it did or didnt work back in luclin era on live(when i made my halfling ranger).

Well, the best evidence I can give is anecdotal. My friend mained a Shadowknight, and used to proc vampiric embrace (rarely) with his bow when pulling. I've been looking on castersrealm. I'll find something.
