Rogue ranged damage
 

Would a well geared rogue do more damage with throwing boulders or a high end bow like the primal bow from Sleeper's Tomb? Would there be a considerable difference?

Background: I'm considering making a rogue but not sure whether dwarf or barbarian would be the better long-term choice. Dwarf has similar stats (a bit more dex), better resists, and is smaller so would be more difficult to hit in pvp; however, only the barbarian can use throwing boulders. I wouldn't want to miss out on the boulders if they are the better option.
