It is a pretty epic thread. Guy posts retirement thread thinking his ten thousand posts mean he's made something of his life, finds out 95% of the replies are people calling him a colossal douche and celebrating his departure. That must have been quite the shock to a hardcore forum lifer...

Except I said in the first post people could let loose and was fully expecting a lot of shit from people.

You have to remember there's a lot of BDA and even some BDA sympathizers (for some reason) on the server.

It shows. I wonder if something will be done about these personal attacks. Recently I've been called homeless a few times, told I need a bath, that I'm a psychopath... no bans come from it.

Meanwhile over on the red side Uuruk, Rettiwalk and Kimm all ate bans for similar comments, maybe less.

Read that retirement thread, some of that stuff is very telling of the declining moral standards in this community.

I've never personally attacked anyone's RL situation but people think it's fine to say what they like...and they seem to get away with it.
