Monk - Hammer of Battle
 

I recently acquired a Hammer of Battle from the Statue in Kael and am curious if it is really that great of an upgrade or not. Some in guild say its really only useful for pulling, others say Hammer and off-hand fist should be better damage on trash and high AC velious mobs, yet others still say the increased damage from Hammer and SoS should reign supreme because Fist bonus damage is low and AC values of mobs.

Anyone here done some parsing with HoB to see if it is worth a sh!t or not?

would rather use epic fist

against high AC targets you want faster weapons because the damage bonus is not mitigated and they have the same damage bonus at 60 (11 damage)

it's cool for pulling though i guess

i'd rather just wear a GBS/bio orb/bowl in that case though

tl;dr item sucks for monks
