Bernie Sanders doesn't need to pander to right-wing libertarians, because right-wing libertarians constitute a meaninglessly small voting bloc. Conservative-leaning voters are so fractured, there's simply no need for Bernie or any candidate left in the race to court them. They have already divided and conquered themselves. They have canceled out their own voices. In 2016, serious candidates should focus on competing for the left and dominating among independents rather than sullying themselves by attempting to bring in the worst of the American electorate.

Sanders/Warren is the ticket which would most excite independents. Would probably win a general election at about 40/30/20 over Clinton and Trump, respectively.

Bernie Isn't going to run 3rd party, he's probably not even going to contest the election. He is just saying that to stay relevant to the media and to stop people asking him when he's going to drop.

Vote independent so your vote is wasted while you see 3% next to the candidate you voted for come November 8th poll results, idiots.

Now I've heard people suggest a Donald-Bernie ticket, and quite frankly I find it amusing as it would never happen (for various reasons), but this thread takes usage of some serious psychedelics to thunk up.

Some people are supporting Bernie simply because they are in the dem party and just cant support Hillary. Though I've heard many of those say they will vote for Donald if Bernie is eliminated. But a Rand-Bernie ticket I'm afraid would just destroy the careers of those two. And on a 3rd party ticket no less, drugs and booze hah!
