The hypetrain has found its new destination since nostalrius' shutdown and playtbc's wreckage.

Kronos will be launching a second PvP server, april 27th. Blizzlike, no 7x xp bull**** like kronos 1.

They currently have a cap on Kronos 1, something close to 5 or 6k I believe (the queue is insane), hopefully the pop will even out between both servers, and it wont be as overpopulated as Nost was in 2016.

A wow server where everyone is lvl 60 let me buy gear with XP i get from killing people in battlegrounds and JUST let me que up for battlegrounds and I will be happy.

The battlegrounds in wow are some of the best pvp I've played in games, period.

I was a WSG master, AB was good too if we had enough people to queue as 10-15 together - the competition couldn't handle us.

I been waiting for them to make a battleground standalone game since wow launch. :(

Reddit said it best "Who gives a sh*t about WoW private servers now? It'll only be allowed to exist if it sucks" or something like that.

Basically any decent server is just going to get shut down. That's always been the case and until recently everyone assumed servers hosted overseas were "safe" and Nostalrius proved that theory wrong pretty quick. Why invest time if it's just gonna get C&D'd in (prolly) less than a year? I've been waiting on Corecraft for.. God knows how long. But now? I don't know man. I'm not even sure if I have the heart to play it if it does eventually release. I wasn't heavily invested in Nostalrius but I know people that were and if I was in those shoes I'd have lost my f***ing mind. Not interested.

Probably better if not equivalent to what playtbc is expected to be. The only reason I'm holding out on that server is the host location being in russia. Would rather test that theory of it being safe there then over a canadian server. But nonetheless it's a lot of fun wpvp.
