Glowing Backpack PTSD
 

Well, I finally lost a bag of items to one of these demon spawned tools of Satan. Among the casualties were 2 BD 88888 rings, 1 65 65 neck plus some other junk. Think I got off pretty lucky, considering I made a visible Haze Panther suit today.

I know I'm not the only one who's done this... Hope not. Post your favorite horror stories.

ahhh one of the joys of phinny server. log out with glowing back pack. log back in all my stuff still there. just in a hefty 35WT bag.

On live I drop transfrerred a bag full of gear for my magican. Expensive to me. Logged over. Realized id done it in the wrong hut in ec. My heart dropped. My bonecaster robe! I couldnt remember which one. Then it happened.

"Who left all this stuff by the guard huts". Thankfully. It was returned. I about died.

when I was on live, and like level 14 I found out about these bags.. I replaced ALL my inventory with them.. I thought I was a genius.

I logged in and cried. I remember thinking, you're an adult. Why are you crying over a video game?!

But that didn't stop the tears.

Extremely hyped after finally getting my epic, doing the final turn in to Kaiaren during insane lag and zone de-syncs which i later learnt was a DDOS attack on the server, i disposed of my tranquil staff in the first bag i set eyes on. i just HAD to try out my epic fists! after killing a critters in EJ and TT, i logged out because of the lag.

Upon logging in, the bag had gone, my precious Tranquil Staff sucked down with it.

After a few F*CKS and SH*TS muttered, i just saw it as fate. Fate that i managed to attain my epic and do my final hand in during atrocious lag from server attacks. I'd rather have lost the staff than the epic!

This is why I never use temporary bags ...

A guildie was letting someone else use his mage as a coth bot - they didn't want to use up his food/water, so they summoned a Gift of Xev. His top bag slots were his keys, so to get the food in there, he put the food/water where his Seb/VP keys were, and put those in the Glowing Backpack.

Several hours later, he logged out, poofing the Seb and VP keys into the abyss...
