everthing is green
 

I came back after a few months and while my Inventory and menus are displayed correct, the actual environment is green and the sky is pink. No I don't consume any drugs although it looks like LSD-EQ.


Is this a known problem and is there a workaround?

did you update your graphic drivers or OS in between?

are you in the karanas? there's a plague going on in there, causing green toxic-ness and swarming beetles to infect the lands. The sky did change last patch (or the one before it) in an effort to restore some of the night vision blindness for certain races. I use simple skies, so I'm not sure about the pink-ness, but the sun/moon definitely changed for me.

I was starting in N Karana (eye cancer danger) and moved to everfrost. This was when the sky was purple. The sky is "normal" in Everfrost but the green mountains and things look just silly.

Colors are normal in Halas, so the strange colors seem to be affected by that event.
