Human druid night vision options
I know that darkness isn't nearly as bad as it used to be, but I would still like to know what my options for night vision would be if I rolled a Human druid. If there are no good ones, I'll give up the idea of a robed druid and roll a Wood Elf with an obnoxious, ever-present tree printed on my chest. I have to look into the darkness more often than I have to look at that tree.
Does wolf form grant infravision? |
Wolf form won't change your vision, I don't think, but we do get summoned light sources. Globe of Stars is pretty darn bright.

You sacrifice the smallest amount of stats as a ring, but have serpentsight/infra-vision. Cost almost nothing. |
Form of the howler grants ultravision. But that is very late in your career...

Wolf form has infravision.
I have to say most people seem to grossly exaggerate the impact of lacking infravision/ultravision(no idea why the wiki makes it a point to mention it as a deciding factor when choosing a race). I play human characters for the most part and I've yet entered a situation where it impaired my ability to play in any way... If anything, it makes the game look better(as in more atmospheric). |

I am only lvl 4, so this may not work well for later, but I picked up the firefly globe spell when I logged in and couldn't see anything all of a sudden. :D

Thought I would add this, same copy of the install on two computers.
Amd gpu has the red tint infravision, Nvidia computer doesnt. Have not had time to look into this fully |
