Evil races and newbie xp quests
 

Just wondering as I've never played an evil race on eq, my buddy started a SK ogre and i know he wont have faction in Kaladim to turn in belts/pads without some killing to get there. Are any of the other xp quests like hk ears or gnoll fangs available to do turn ins for him without working up faction first?

No sadly. The evil path isn't an easy one.

Perhaps at a stretch a human SK could do the quests?

You could always level the old fashioned way by killing things ...

Grobb and Cabilis have bone chip quests as well.

Innothule/Feerott it's not so easy to get a good supply of skeletons though :(

Evil research isn't bad xp. I found a cache of 3 Greater Lightstones on 46 ranger which gave at about the same xp as fear kiting a griffin. Pushed me into 47 with a visible bit of blue xp extra.

A druid who casts wolf form on you will make it possible for you to turn in fangs in bb with no other faction work, for what that's worth. If you're patient and kill enough gnolls to get non-KOS, you can do it with just harmony on the Steel Warriors in that arena (the GM will need a harmony, and someone should spam-Hail the pather to keep them away from you, or harmony them too).

Both of my ogres managed their fang turn ins using one of these two methods at various times.

Deathfist belts should be fine in freeport with wolf form, right?
