New Player joining up
 

Hi all.

I played EQ just as Kunark expansion came out, and ended up quitting just after Velious (I loved Kunark and Velious) I think i quit due to rl. I had just started college, and didn't have the time. I played DAoC and EQ2, games which i also enjoyed.

When i first heard about EQNext, i was excited, and then i saw the graphics. I hated it, but knowing that although i wouldn't be playing, it was nice knowing the EverQuest brand was still a live and kicking.... And then i heard of EQNext Cancellation, which brings me here.

Since i heard (Saturday just gone), i've longed for those old EQ days, and although i enjoyed EQ2, i have this nagging feeling that Day Break could turn the lights off at any point.

Now admittedly, i still don't think i have the time to play :).

This went on longer than expected, and i'm unsure what i'm getting at, but; I miss EQ; Not looking forward to any upcoming MMO; I miss that old school community. Would you say signup to Project 1999, or should i just move on lol.
