You can play both red and blue

Use Lns.... Or stay on blue and /guildremove so you can exp in zones when a raid mob is in its 36 hour window. Gota watch out for them NTOV geared rogues behind every corner!

The problem with the red server is that it is pvp. EQ pvp sucks.

Yes i rolled a new dark elf warrior and before i could even equip my newbie sword i got raped by 8 ntov rogues and a bard. Eq pvp not balanzed
