A Scarlet Stone is dropping in FV, which is correct but the item in actuality is "Scarlet Stone"

Can't find scarlet stone
 

My druid can't find any Drolvarg Scavengers in FV. none on track and haven't seen any. Zam says the stones drop off Drolvarg Snarlers as well, but I've killed dozens of them and no stone. Trying to get my Iksar monk his bronze shackle. Zam also says the stone was a common drop for everybody and there were lots of Scavengers.

Seconding this. No Scavengers on track in FV. Killed about a dozen Snarlers and no drops from them (Though they did have Lichen Clover, which is not listed as a drop from them on Alla's).

Did a search and only found 2 threads about the stone. I've only had luck with a drolvarg scavengers spawning at a camp with a big iksar head. Around loc 1600, -1400 there a static spawn of dogs in a camp....clear them a few times and eventually a scavenger will spawn there. Now if I could just him to drop the stone.

Is there really only 3 possible spawn spots for scavengers? I find that hard to believe considering no Allakhazam comments say anything about them being rare or hard to find. Also, Allakhazam says that Snarlers drop the Scarlet Stone as well, is this true or was that added in later?

Scavengers should be wandering the zone. It looks like this was screwed this up when the Captain Nealith's Brother quest was implemented. Good news for anyone who wants a Glaive of Marltek, bad news for monks trying to do their shackle quest.

I tried looking up old information to back-up my claim but no one really commented about them much back in the day since they were generic trash mobs asides from a couple people asking what the scarlet stones were for.

Also having a lot of trouble finding any Drovlarg Scavengers, haven't cleared that camp yet because I am not high enough, but I don't remember it being this way.

I just wanted to confirm that clearing this camp does eventually spawn the scavenger. After clearing the camp for a couple rounds the scavenger spawned and dropped "A Scarlet Stone." Thanks for the tip!
