ENC charmed pet question
 

Haven't played in a while. Was just wondering if anything has changed with giving torches to charmed pets to increase their DPS?

I haven't paid attention recently, but last time I checked the torch still caused the pet to dual wield, despite claims to the contrary. The only major change is that they have brought back looting pet weapons, so if you want to use a weapon with a particular proc instead of a torch, you can now kill your pet and loot the weapon when you're done.

it now requires 2 individual weapons for a charmed npc to properly dw

Woah champ, ease up with the unnecessary hostility. I haven't used my chanter aside from a buff bot for a few months, which is why I clearly stated that I hadn't checked recently. However, even after the patch mobs were still DW with torch....

If you've actually tested it and confirmed pets are no longer DW with a torch, then I stand corrected, but if you're just going off the patch notes you might want to double check your info.

at this point if you arnt giving him two stun procs or two dps procs what are you even doing with your life amiright?!?!

the correct answer is mandolin. torches do not work anymore.
