Problems binding spells to hotbar.
 

So I am new to Everquest, and it looked like a really nice game to play. So I decided to give it a shot. Although I am having some problems. I try dragging my spells to the hotbar but it is not working. I am not even sure if thats what I am suppose to do lol! All I want to do is be able to use my spells by pressing a key on the keyboard. Please will someone enlighten me!

Left click + hold on any spell 'gem' (icon) that you have memorized onto your spellbar.
Then left click any of the open 1-8 slots on your hotkey 1 window. Then you can simply press 1-8 to cast your spell.

I believe by default you can cast spells from your spellbar with Alt + 1-8.

Another way is to make a in game macro that /cast # and Left click + hold that and left click the hotkey window slot of your choice.

To remove things from your hotkey window you can Left click + hold any of the 1-8 slots then click anywhere except a window.

Left click and hold on the spell in the spell bar until it "pops off" onto your cursor. click it onto the hotbar slot you want it to go.
