Race Issues
 

Well I guess it's not so much a race issue, but can you not make halflings on this server? Each time I have tried, the client crashes.

halflings of certain classes you cannot make. Like halfling pally or ranger. That might cause it crash. try making a halfling cleric, druid, warrior or rogue and see.

Hah yeah, I was trying for a halfling ranger.

Well one more question, are the experience differences in this as they were back in 99? Well exp differences between races and classes that is.

Troll: -20%
Barb: -5%
Halfling: +5%

Class
Ranger: -40%
Paladin: -40%
SK: -40%
Bard: -40%
Magician: -10%
Enchanter: -10%
Necromancer: -10%
Wizard: -10%
Monk: -20%
Rogue: +9%
Warrior: +10%

Exp penalties are multiplied not added, so a troll sk would be (1.4 x 1.2 = 1.68 or 68% penalty)

Ohhh man, not sure I am willing to go through the SK path again then. I remember leveling one in those conditions and it took soooo long. The pay off was great, but I don't have that kind of time lol.

yeah, troll sk = 68% penalty = bad

not to mention penalties are shared with group in that your penalty slows the leveling of others

Mmmmm Warrior it is. Good thing my favorite race is a halfling, sadly I cannot make a Halfling Ranger. So Halfling Warrior, Rogue or Druid. Decisions decisions....

Do you have a link as your source? I am just curious to where you got this info from? I have searched everywhere and couldn't find anything official.
