Mega server lag right now ... Someone hit the "turbo" button pls.

We're DDOSing it from our Rampage headquarters

Just got kicked out and now not getting any servers at all to show up, anyone know if that's on my end or is eqemu down?

I guess Rampage's assassin weasels have succeeded in taking out the hamsters that keep the server running. :O

In the three nights since the patch on Sunday, around 7 or 8 pm EST, the server starts to lag hard. You'll cast, open a door or con a mob and there will be no action for several seconds. However, it seems periodic. At one moment it will be fine, the next moment the ping plotter goes crazy.

I've been in the same spot for almost 2 weeks so all that's changed in that time is the patch. I've also talked to players who have noticed the same thing.

Yeah, there's been a lot of sudden lag the past few days. It doesn't last long enough to try and pinpoint what is causing it though, so unless we hear from the devs actually poking the server, I'm not sure what will happen.
