Project 1999 - Trouble logging into character

This has happened only recently, I've been playing daily since the middle of November without any issues up until a few days ago, with no changes made. I will type in password, click on server, sometimes it kicks me straight back to login screen from there, and other times it takes me to char select, but then when I select a char, it kicks me back to login screen. When it starts happening it will happen for a while, through shutdowns even. Sometimes it tells me I can't connect to the patch server which doesnt make any sense.
